Dr. Strong moved to Charleston at a young age after her father was stationed in the area. She attended Clemson University, where she earned her BS, and Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her DVM. She has been practicing small animal medicine for over 20 years, the majority in the low country area.
Fun Fact: Dr. Strong and Dr. Henke were actually classmates at Auburn University!
Dr. Strong’s deep compassion is all aspects of feline medicine. She enjoys keeping current on everything feline. She loves to help the underrepresented species and all their special qualities and quirks.
Don’t worry, she loves dogs as well! Some of her other special interests are dermatology, wound management, behavior, senior care, and preventative medicine and care to help our furry loved ones live longer healthier lives!
She feels it is important to honor all pets at each life stage and to help guide owners through these stages.
When she is not working, Dr. Strong loves to read, go to the beach, travel, garden, and spend time with her husband and their three kitties: Oliver, Finley, and Bosley!
